Marvin uses complex aluminum extrusions designed to fit the equally complex contours of the wooden frames instead of simple and generically roll-formed extrusions used by some of the competitor's designs.

Like vinyl framed windows, Marvin's aluminum clad exterior frames never need painting. However; unlike vinyl windows, the exteriors of Marvin Clad windows are available in many different colors. And, since the interiors are constructed of solid wood, they can be finished in any colored stain or paint the homeowner wishes.

Solid fir interior frames provide the look and warmth that only wood can deliver. The straight grain and knot free fir readily accepts any stain allowing the finish to be coordinated to the rest of the home. For an additional fee, your windows can be professionally finished to your specification prior to installation.

Marvin WoodClad Windows are manufactured to your specifications. While WoodClad windows come standard with either clay or white hardware, they can be upgraded to various finishes in chrome or brass for that extra look of elegance.
