Windows Info

Accurate Window & Door only installs windows from top name manufacturers known for their high quality standards. Our Infinity fiberglass replacement windows meet the stringent .30 u-value Energy Trust ratings, and this is without expensive option packages that other windows manufacturers need to compensate for inferior design. You can see the new Infinity from Marvin fiberglass replacement windows, as well as the latest window styles and new products, in our Portland showroom. All of our window installations are completely weather sealed to keep nature’s unwanted elements out, while letting the maximum sunshine in. For those areas where there’s too much sun or where privacy is a concern, we can install windows with special coatings to reduce the transparency of the glass.

Informed consumers choose wisely

Our website is an important information resource—sharing our knowledge and experience will provide you with a basic knowledge of the window and door industry, so that you may ask focused and hard-hitting questions about the services and materials quoted by contractors.

Taking the time to become informed will help you look beyond the lowest quoted price and judge who would take shortcuts with your job to save a few dollars. Shortcuts may cause early failure, air or water leaks. Improperly selected materials or poor installation of your new windows will probably go unnoticed until bad weather arrives.

Remember, in the world of remodeling, you can realistically achieve only two of the following three targets—high quality, low price, fast service. Be very cautious when a quote promises all three or a “low-ball” fee that seems too good to be true!
